Tulsa Drillers president and owner Chuck Lamson will be discussing the status of the new ballpark for the Drillers. In addition, Chuck will discuss special elements and features that will make a new ballpark a true treasure for all people in the Tulsa community. Chuck Lamson joined the Tulsa Drillers front office in a sales capacity during his playing days in the off season of 1980 and 1981 and became full time groundskeeper in 1982. He served as assistant general manager for 11 years and was named executive vice president and general manager in 1995. In 2006 he purchased controlling interest in the team. Lamson has a B.S. from Langston University and played for the Drillers for three years. Lamson was elected to his junior college Athletic Hall of Fame in 1992 and chosen Texas League Executive of the Year in 1996 and 1998. Please RSVP by Monday, January 14 RSVP no-shows will be billed.
