Marketing the LPGA in Tulsa

The Tulsa chapter of the American Marketing Association will travel to Broken Arrow to enjoy lunch at Cedar Ridge Country Club, home of the upcoming SemGroup Championship. Tournament Director Doug Eibling will discuss marketing professional sporting events, especially professional golf, at this special luncheon. He’ll share the goals of the LPGA, how they market to different targets, and the growing attendance and sponsorship interest in this exciting Tulsa event. Doug Eibling is a 1991 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with an MBA in Marketing with a sport emphasis from Indiana University. He began his career in golf tournament management as an intern in 1999 and has worked in the business of golf tournament marketing and management ever since. He previously served as assistant tournament director for Kansas City’s annual PGA Champions Tour and as executive director of the State Farm Classic LPGA Tournament in Springfield, Illinois.
