2008 CLIO AWARDS: Please join the American Marketing Association for our annual viewing of the Clio Awards. This year, the 45-minute short version film of the CLIO awards will be presented in a continuous loop for viewing at your leisure while you network with other AMA members. The Clio Awards (www.clioawards.com) are the world’s most recognized international advertising awards competition. Founded in 1959 to celebrate creative excellence and innovation in advertising, the Clios inspire and pay tribute to one of the most interesting and influential art forms in modern culture. The Clio Awards focus on creative work in the fields of advertising and design, and serve the global design and advertising communities. Thursday, August 28, 2007, 5:30-7 p.m. Ticket Prices: $10 members – members must RSVP by August 25th to receive $10 price. $20 for non-members and walk-ins. Hors d’oeuvres included. The Circle Theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building is located in the historic Whittier Square Shopping Center, Tulsa’s first suburban shopping center.
