Nevertheless, there are things you can do or avoid when marketing to a specific population, in order to gain their loyalty. The April luncheon is a great opportunity to learn what some of those things are when it comes to Tulsa’s Hispanic market. Margarita Vega-Treviño and her husband own Zapata Multi-Media, publishers of the award-winning Hispano de Tulsa newspaper since 1993 and Paginas Hispanas, the Hispanic Yellow Pages since 1999. The group also produces and organizes Festival Hispano each year. Margarita has resided in Tulsa since 1987 and is a graduate of the University of Tulsa.
